Goertek Europe R&D is owned by Goertek Inc. China, which is one of the major players within electro-acoustic solutions for the B2B market. You will find yourself working in an exciting international team at a great location in Copenhagen. Additionally, you will meet 10 colleagues working in Aalborg.
As a highly competitive R&D team, we push the boundaries in audio and electronics, and convert the latest technologies into products that serve and help people in their daily lives. For our R&D team in Copenhagen, we are seeking an engineer with a great passion for audio and DSP software development.
Developing algorithms for physical system modeling, system identification, and model inverting.
Developing algorithms for speech processing, including noise suppression, echo cancellation and multi-microphone beamforming.
Ensuring a smooth porting process from the C-code reference to DSPs and microprocessors
Optimal control theory and system identification.
Adaptive filter design and its applications (i.e. Echo cancellation, noise reduction, adaptive beamforming).
IIR/FIR digital filter design and its applications (i.e. Equalization, decimation, interpolation, linear prediction).
Coding in C/C++ language, Python and MATLAB.
Fixed point and floating-point DSP programming.
Design of dynamic range control algorithms.
Familiarity with solving optimization problems.
PhD or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing or equivalent.
Fluent written and spoken English.
It is considered as a plus if you:
Have software knowledge/skills including agile software development, source control, test-driven approach, continuous integration, code review, etc.
Have experience with optimizing tools and processes around auto-test systems integrated with GIT and JIRA task management.
Are capable of writing high quality, efficient, clean, testable and maintainable code.
Are familiar with acoustics engineering, psycho-acoustics, and/or recording arts.
Have experience with various embedded CPU architectures, such as ARM and Qualcomm Snapdragon.
Have a good sense of how to optimize software for embedded hardware platforms.
Have experience with software development in Linux and/or Android environments.
