Goertek Europe R&D is owned by Goertek Inc. China, which is one of the major players providing electro-acoustic solutions in the B2B market. As a highly competitive R&D team, we push the boundaries in audio and electronics, and convert the latest technologies into products that serve and help people in their daily lives. Today we have 30 engineers based across two sites in Denmark, 20 people in Copenhagen, and 10 people in Aalborg.



We are seeking talented engineers with great passion for audio and DSP software development for our R&D team in Copenhagen. Due to the broad variety of audio technologies and products we are working on, different profiles are of interest:

  • Control engineers with great experience in modeling physical systems, identifying non-linearities in the system and designing non-linear compensation schemes to push the limits of the system above its linear operating range.
  • Talented audio DSP engineers to contribute to the development of the next generation of our audio enhancement, noise suppression, voice enhancement and speaker room adaptation algorithms. Both entry and senior level audio DSP engineers are of interest.

Common for both profiles are that you, as a person, enjoy working in a truly international team, and enjoy not only to gain new knowledge yourself but also to help to improve the team by sharing your knowledge and bright ideas. You find value in conducting applied research and the process to implement it in real-time on hardware. You communicate and document effortlessly in English.



Depending on your background and professional skills, the following competences will be considered as qualifications for the position:

  • Optimal control theory and system identification.
  • Adaptive filter design and its applications (i.e. Echo cancellation, noise reduction, adaptive beamforming).
  • IIR/FIR digital filter design and its applications (i.e. Equalization, decimation, interpolation, linear prediction).
  • Coding in C/C++ language, Python and MATLAB.
  • Fixed point and floating-point DSP programming.
  • Design of dynamic range control algorithms.
  • Familiarity with solving optimization problems.
  • PhD or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing or equivalent.


It is considered as a plus if you: 

  • Have software knowledge/skills including agile software development, source control, test-driven approach, code review, etc.
  • Have experience with optimizing tools and processes around test automations and continuous integration systems.
  • Have experience with GIT and JIRA task management.
  • Are capable of writing high quality, efficient, clean, testable and maintainable code.
  • Are familiar with acoustics engineering, psycho-acoustics, and/or recording arts.
