Goertek Europe R&D is owned by Goertek Inc. China, which is one of the major players within electro-acoustic solutions for the B2B market. The position: 

  • We’re looking for Research Student in Audio Engineering.

  • We offer an exciting student job where you will be a part of a dynamic, fast and innovative multicultural R&D team, that works in close collaboration with our Chinese colleagues

  • We have 2 anechoic rooms, 1 IEC standardized listening room, Klippel system, Soundcheck and a Polytech laser scanner among with a lot of other interesting measurement equipment.


  • Supporting our R&D team. Your main focus will be to set up and perform measurements in our lab and processing of the acquired data

  • Analyze data as well as perform subjective evaluation in audio quality assessment

  • Your opinion and academic background will affect future design and improvement


  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Have received or actively studying a degree of B.Sc./M.Sc. in Acoustics, Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering or similar

  • Experience with acoustic measurements

  • Skills in data and signal processing (e.g. Python, Matlab, Excel,…)


As a person, you are: 

  • A team player, who enjoys finding the best solutions through good collaboration.

  • Having an interest in working with audio products, loudspeakers, earbuds, headphones, etc.
